EVENT FAQ

How can I register? Where will the event take place? Will I get a certificate and medal?

Registration

Registration for the adidas Runners City Night 2023 is possible online from August 4, 2022 until July 17, 2023* via your user account.

After the successful registration you will receive a sonfirmation by e-mail. You wil  also find an overview of your registration and booking for the adidas Runners City Night in your user account under "My registrations".

 

For the two 10 K competitions we offer a double start option. In this case, you will first start as a skater before completing the 10 K lap a second time in your running shoes.

Register only for one of the disciplines first. Then contact us via our contact form to receive a code for the discounted registration for the second competition.

Please note: For the change of discipline we charge a handling fee of 5 €. In addition, you have to pay the difference to the current valid price level of your new discipline. 

We are sorry that we can't welcome you at the adidas Runners City Night this year!

We ask for your understanding that due to high logistical and organizational effort of the event, participation fees cannot be reimbursed by us. For more information, please see our terms of participation (§6.2).

If you booked cancellation insurace when you registered, you can claim it in your user account (under My Registrations > adidas Runners City Night).

Unfortunately, transfers to another person or another year are not possible. Your race entry is bound to a person and event.

Before the start

Race material pick-up will be possible in the days before the event. Exact information on when and where you will receive your bib number will be announced later.

How:

  • with your start card (will be send to you 7-10 days prior to the event via email) and your ID
  • with a letter of authorization, the start card and a copy of ID, the pick-up is also possible by another person

The start and finish area of the adidas Runners City Night is located on Kurfürstendamm, near the Kaiser-Wilhem-Gedächtniskirche.

 

At best, you use public transportation.

The subway stations Kurfürstendamm and Wittenbergplatz as well as station Zoologischer Garten are within walkable distance of the event site.

If you plan to arrive by car, please note that there is no reserved parking available and there will be traffic disruptions due to racetrack closures.

A limited amount of bag storage is available for a fee of € 5. You can book this service in advance via your user account or, if there is still capacity, on the day of the event.

Toilets are located in the start and finish area and at the refreshment point along the course.

 

Starting times are:

  • Skating: 7 pm
  • 5 k run: 7:45 pm
  • 10 k run: 8:30 pm

Yes! Wearing a helmet is mandatory for skaters. Unfortunately, you can not participate without a helmet.

 

In order for your time to be measured correctly, please be aware of the following: 

  • wear the chip at the foot (shoelace) or at the ankle (tape)
  • do not wear it above the calf, the chip won’t register when you step over the finish line (not in pockets or as a necklace!)
  • the chip should not get in contact with anything made out of metal
  • To avoid transposed numbers: please compare the chip number stated on the bib with the numer on the chip. Please contact the support team if the numbers are NOT identical.

After the finish line

Absolutely! All participants who finish the race within the time limit will receive a medal in an exclusive design.

 

For skaters the time limit is 45 minutes.

Runners in the 10k discipline have a time limit of 1:30h.

You will find your result online in the result list shortly after your finish. There you can also download your certificate. No results or certificates will be given on site.

 

For refreshment after your race you will be offered water, tea and ERDINGER non-alcoholic beer in the finish area. 

Please return the rented chip on the day of the event by 10:15 pm at the latest. You will find chip collectors in the finish area, recognizable by flags with a chip symbol.

 

No, there are unfortunately no shower facilities available on site.

 

Lost items can be handed in at the Infopoint on the event site.
